Refund Policy

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which tuition and fees may be refunded at Bright Little Sunshine’s Daycare (“BLS Daycare”). Our goal is to maintain fairness and transparency while ensuring consistency in the management of tuition and program costs.

2. Registration & Enrollment Fees

  • Non-Refundable: All registration and enrollment fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • These fees secure your child’s spot in the program and cover administrative costs.

3. Tuition Payments

  • Prepaid Tuition: Tuition is due in advance (weekly/monthly, as per your contract).

  • Refunds for Withdrawal:

    • Families must provide a minimum of two (2) weeks’ written notice prior to withdrawing their child.

    • If notice is given, any prepaid tuition beyond the two-week notice period will be refunded.

    • If proper notice is not provided, no refund will be issued for unused days or weeks.

4. Absences and Closures

  • Child Absences: Refunds or credits are not issued for days a child is absent due to illness, vacation, or other personal reasons.

  • Daycare Closures: Refunds are not provided for closures due to:

    • Holidays listed on the daycare calendar

    • Emergency closures (e.g., weather, health/safety reasons, power outages, etc.)

    • Public health mandates or other events beyond our control

5. Program Cancellations by BLS Daycare

If BLS Daycare cancels a class, program, or service for reasons other than those listed above:

  • Families will receive a full refund or credit for the canceled portion.

6. Deposits

  • Some programs may require a security or enrollment deposit.

  • Deposits are applied to the final tuition payment provided that the required notice of withdrawal is given.

  • Deposits are forfeited if notice requirements are not met.

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued within 10–15 business days of confirmation.

  • Refunds are processed using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed upon.

8. Special Circumstances

Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., family emergency, relocation, or medical condition) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
BLS Daycare reserves the right to make exceptions at its sole discretion.

9. Agreement

By enrolling your child at Bright Little Sunshine’s Daycare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
